How to import Quantity On Hand field for Products
Users often want to include the Quantity on Hand field when importing a product. However, Quantity On Hand field is related to another module than the Product module. Therefore, the first step should be considered as importing the products and the second step as importing the available quantity.
Please follow the steps below after importing products;
Go to the Inventory Module. Under Operations Header, click the Inventory Adjustments menu item.
Create a New Inventory Adjustment and fill the necessary fields such as Name or Location
Prepare an Excel that has the columns named Product, Location, Quantity
Click the Details stat button
Lastly, click the Import button to import inventory lines
Note: While entering a location data on your excel file you should use the Barcode or Full Location Name of the related Location
Here is an example row that include the Full Location Name:
ProductName,Physical Locations/WH/Stock,100
Here is another example row that include Barcode of Location:
ProductName,123, 100
To enter a barcode value, you can go to Locations menu item under Configuration header. Related field is marked below.
