Overview: The SMS Marketing module has been updated to simplify the process of tracking link performance within SMS campaigns. These changes focus on improving the efficiency and functionality of SMS marketing efforts.
Updates:
1. Direct Link Inclusion:
Users can now add links directly into SMS messages without needing a link tracker.
Benefits:
- Simplified Campaigns: Direct link inclusion removes the need for additional tracking tools.
How it works ?
- Firstly, click on SMS Marketing App from Marketing Cloud.
- Then, create a new SMS marketing campaign by clicking new button.
- While you creating a new SMS marketing campaign, you should fill some fields : give a name for the campaign, select the recipients and finally select an SMS template.
- After selecting the SMS template, you can edit the content from SMS Content tab. In this scenario, we will easily add a URL to content without using the link tracker app.
- Now, you can send the SMS by clicking Send button. After your recipient received the SMS and click the link added, you can easily see clicks from Clicked stat button.
Tip: If there is no link in SMS content, Clicks stat button will be invisible.
